…saying good bye to summer

Just wanted to say a quick “hello.”  I’ve been MIA for a few months, I haven’t been feeling inspired lately.  Therefore, to circumvent my inevitable evanescence, I will bid summer farewell and welcome autumn with a revitalized and refreshed outlook…so stay with me as I revamp this virtual space.

…a pop of yellow

It has been a while since I’ve posted anything…and I truly apologize.  My family and I have been on holiday, a much needed holiday.

I thought, however, I’d give you guys a glimpse of what I’ve been doing.  Work has been really busy with “business trips” and changes in the office.  I am also currently writing a journal article andawaiting for its impending finalization.  My husband and I are also planning, not only our next European exploration – I guess, you can say vacation…but we are also in the midst, more like the first stage of our “humanitarian project.”  But more importantly, I am happy to announce that I just recently attended my doctoral graduation and have been officially hooded.  So to say the least, I have been really busy.  In any event, I thought, I’d present you guys with what I’ve been wearing as of late…everything blue with a pop of yellow.  Enjoy!

… the efflorescence of Italian beauty

I apologize for the lengthy absence, my work have slightly taken over my world, for the mean time.  I’ve been gone traveling for the last two and a half weeks between two different continents…but in midst of my travel, I was able to squeeze a little time to spend with my mom – she certainly surprised me.  And I could not have been more ecstatic to see her.

These photos were taken a few months ago in one of the most picturesque, quaint, and absolutely charming town in Northern Italy.

…winter blues and a splash of red

A splash of color can make any gloomy day seem brighter and with a smile, makes it even sweeter.

I find the white brick wall as the perfect backdrop for this colorful dress, highlighting its beautiful tribal pattern. So, it may be cold and gloomy outside but our clothes don’t necessarily need to reflect that!

…a new beginning

“and the life [I] lead is of [my] own creation…” inspired by many, I would like to utilize this virtual space as a medium to which I can express my passion for art, culture, and nature; a vehicle to express my stance regarding social justice and feminism…
